Marketing Tips: Extra Information

When you are promoting or advertising a product you do not always have a large amount of space to give the amount of information that you need to. As such it can be a good idea to look for ways to make more information available. There are a few ways that you can do this, depending upon the medium that you are using.

Print Advertising – If you are advertising in a newspaper, magazine or any other type of printed publication, it becomes easy to offer more information. The best way is to provide a link to your website. This will allow for as much more information as you are able to provide.

How though do you provide further information in a web based situation. This is almost as easy as the print advertising, as the answer still actually lies with your website. While you may think that the information doesn’t belong all on the one page, and you may be right it can just take a little creative work to get it to all fit.

If you have a common piece of information which you will be using for multiple products or even if you want to put the information on to another page, you can make use of creating small pop-up windows. With just the information related to the part of the site that is clicked on. This makes it quite easy to reuse the same added information in multiple locations.

The more information that you can prodvide for a customer the better the chance that you have to get them interested in the product. Which can lead to more sales.
