Moving towards more connections

I have been a member of both facebook and myspace for a long time. The links to my profiles for both are in the sidebar. But i am always looking for more ways to connect in with other people. So recently i have add two other sites to the social networking sites that i am using. The first was Linkedin, which i followed today with Twitter.

It was mostly for business reasons that i decided to join the linked in website, as i really want to work towards building a quality network of business acquaintances. Besides the obvious benefits of having such a network, i would also like the network to use if needed in future career movements. This may be a long way off but there are plenty of people that i think i should consider keeping track of that i have and will know in my business life.

The other was twitter, i decided to join this after a discussion about it on a forum that i frequent, and thought that it may be a good idea, to give it a try and see where it goes. It seems to be fairly similar to the status update on facebook or myspace, but this is all it is and it is used to drive on going conversations based purely on what you are doing right then.

My Twitter profile can be found here –

Please feel free to connect with me on linkedin or follow me on twitter, and i think that this is something that will really interest me to see how these two new avenues pan out.
