A Stream for anyone

After discussing the other day the importance of having multiple streams of income, i thought maybe it would be a good idea to share some idea’s.  Just some thoughts on what different stream’s you could create for yourself.

The first stream i am going to discuss is that of creating one or more websites. A website can be a good place to start if not multiple at least a second stream of income. The greatest benefit of creating a website or a blog for that matter is that you can create a stream of income as big or as small as you like, depending on how much time you can put into the project.

While it is something that will require some specific knowledge, it is still something that just about anyone can do. If you are starting from a point of knowing nothing, this should not be a stopping point, as there is more then enough information available from other sites that can show you everything that you need to know.  So there may be a little research needed up front to get you up to speed, otherwise it all comes down to the time you can put in.

Probably the biggest consideration that you need to make is that while it is a potential income stream it can take a little while to develop.  Some people start making money within days others may not see an income for a few months. Putting in the time and working on it though should see results if not in the near future, soon.

In saying all of this the potential for income from a website should be considered, for a small hobby site that you spend only an hour or two a week on, you may be able to make $50-100 a month once established. For a site you can dedicate a lot of time to creating, building and marketing, then the sky is the limit. All in all though take your time, do your research and create a quality site, and you have good potential.
